Bartolo J. Taormina

Bartolo Joseph Taormina, age 77, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Connie Pampena and Nancy Viscardo. Beloved husband of Pat Taormina; loving father of John Taormina, Maria (John) Mastriano, Peter (Terri) Taormina, and Joseph Taormina; proud Nanu of nine grandchildren: Emily Taormina, John Bartolo (Sara) Taormina, Bartolo Taormina, Frances Mastriano, Anne Mastriano, Lorenzo Taormina, Lucia Taormina, Anthony Mastriano, Benito Taormina and 5 great-grandchildren. He was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose zeal for his family, the saltwater and Sicily was only exceeded by his passion for being an amazing father. He took pride in being a veteran, taking his grandchildren out, and teaching the most valuable lessons: to always be kind and that family is the only thing that matters. Anyone who knew Bart admired his fervor for the Pittsburgh Penguins, playing cards with lifelong friends and a chilled glass of VO. Services and Interment will be held privately by the family.
