Carl J. Fischerkeller

Carl J. Fischerkeller, age 90, of Winter Garden, Florida, formerly of Shaler Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Devoted husband of 67 years to Gloria M. (DeProspo) Fischerkeller; Loving father of Joseph (June) Fischerkeller, Eileen (Greg) Allen, Donna Fischerkeller, Paul (Kristine) Fischerkeller, and Michael Fischerkeller; Proud Grandpap of Erin, Emily, Michael, Ryan, Hannah, Erika, Stephen, and the late Matthew; Cherished Great-grandpap of Molly, Lucy, and Charleigh; Dear brother of John Fischerkeller, Margaret Sommerer, and the late Thomas and William Fischerkeller; Beloved son of the late William and Mary Fischerkeller. Carl proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served as an Altar boy at St. Mary’s Church in Lawrenceville, was an avid bowler and golfer, and played in the senior citizens softball league.  Carl’s greatest pleasure in life was enjoying time with his family, especially the Christmas Holiday. He will be greatly missed. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Matthew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
