Charles J. Dietz

Charles J. “Chuck” Dietz, age 92, of Shaler Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Virginia (Claus) Dietz; loving father of Donald (Linda), Joyce (Rob) Frydryck and the late Lorraine Ann and Eric Charles Dietz; Proud Pap Pap of Bryan (Shannon) Dietz, Sean (Fiancée Madison) Dietz, Rachel (Alex) Gigler, Logan (Makenzie) Dietz, and Christopher Frydryck; Dear great Gigi of Benjamin, Audrey, Mia, and Riley; Cherished brother of the late Paul, Robert, Margie Dietz, and Carol Gosser. Chuck was a dedicated employee at Mellon Bank and an active member for 86 years at All Saints Church in Etna. He was also an avid swimmer and bowler, but above all of Chuck’s greatest joys, his family always came first. A special Thank you to the Staff at St. Barnabas for their compassion and care. Friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 7 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Matthew Parish, All Saints Church, Etna. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Spina Bifida Association of WPA.
