Craig M. Wyke, age 70, of Gibsonia, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away at home on Monday, January 6, 2025. Husband and constant companion of Christine (Cubelic) Wyke; cherished son of the late John and Evelyn (Bridges) Wyke; beloved brother of John “Jack” (Rose) Wyke; loving uncle of Melissa (Eric) Wyke-Shiring and daughter Arden and Jeff (Angelica) Wyke and daughter Miranda; brother-in-law Charles R. (Pam) Cubelic and children Elizabeth (Dean) Maddox, Victoria, and Charles J., sister-in-laws Cynthia (Zeljko) Jergan and children Zachary (Antonia), Antonela and Nikola, and Danijela, and Cathleen (Patrick) Farrell and children Brandon (Lindsey), Jessica, and Kylie; proud father of Abby (Kevin) Kendall and children Georgia and Olivia, Ben (Lisa) Wyke and children Hudson, Colston, Langston, Braxson, Scotlyn, and Ashton, Kate Wyke and children Mason and Baerin, and John Wyke. Craig earned his bachelor's degree from Penn State University and his master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He taught English in the Penn Hills School District before becoming a 4th generation employee at Peoples Natural Gas where he put in over 40 years before recently retiring in July as an Operations Supervisor. Craig was an avid gardener, he loved reading, and a good crossword puzzle. He was a 30-year season ticket holder with the Steelers and a dedicated Pirates baseball and Penn State football fan. As a true lover of the sun and sand, he was a member of the Ocean City Fishing Club in his beloved Ocean City, NJ. Craig was also a longtime member of Hebron Presbyterian Church and Infinity Lodge No. 546 F&AM. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 8 PM with a Masonic Service at 7:30 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM followed by interment at Allegheny County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Greater PA and WV Make a Wish Foundation.
