Doris "Grammy" Moore

Doris “Grammy” Moore, of Greenville, SC, formerly of the Pittsburgh area, passed away Friday March 22, 2024, at a senior residence in Greenville, she was 94 years old. Born August 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ethel Johnson. A native of Bentleyville, PA and for the last 20 years she resided in South Carolina. Her husband Robert Moore passed away July 31, 2014. Mrs. Moore, a Presbyterian, was active in the church. Her grandchildren have fond memories of her delicious homemade bread. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved decorating. Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Moore and Brian Moore and his wife Ryoko Moore; three grandchildren, Kathryn Picchi, Gregory Moore, and Ian Moore and one great-granddaughter, Gweniveve Picchi. Friends will be received on Wednesday April 10 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Inurnment will be next to her late husband in Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to the Alzheimer Foundation of America.
