Irene G. Linkowski

Irene G. (Grieser) Linkowski, age 89, of Allison Park, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Beloved wife of 62 years to John Linkowski; loving mother of John R. (Elisabetta) Linkowski, Mary Irene (Roy) Newman, and Ellen G. (Gary) Stone; Proud grandmother of Alicia (Brandon Linko) Newman, Emily Newman, and Carolina Linkowski; Dear great-grandmother of Grayson Michael; Sister of Marjorie (late George) Courville and the late Dolores (William) Lux and Gertrude (Jack) Stierheim; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Irene was a North Hills High School graduate and then graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in 1955 and worked for St. Francis Hospital for over 20 years. She worked with local Girl Scouts and belonged to prayers groups and the Christian Mothers at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.  Friends will be received on Wednesday from 1:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw, on Thursday at 10:30 AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
