June H. Larrimer

June Hart “Livewire” Larrimer, age 94, of Glenshaw, passed peacefully in her home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She fought a good fight and was an active woman into her late 80’s playing golf, bridge, bowling, watching Bob Ross, dabbling in oils and sculpting, spending time at the family’s camp, boating at the creek, delivering Meals on Wheels, ushering at the Benedum and enjoying a glass of Southern Comfort. She was the proud mother and is survived by her eight children: Laurie (Joe Colao), Curt (Patti), Jan, Pete (Cheryl), Tom (Marilyn), Brenda (Barry Miller), Jim (Karen), and Bill (Stacia), 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband James Larrimer whom she married on January 31, 1953, and her 2 granddaughters Emily and Hope. She is also survived by her 2 brothers Peter Hart and Alan Hart (Rusty) and many nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Life will take place at June’s home on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in memory of her granddaughter Emily or to any charitable organization.
