Karen R. Krasneski

Karen R. Krasneski, age 86, passed peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Walter S. Krasneski Sr. for 60 years; loving mother of Valerie Krasneski-Schrieber (Les), Cindy Kroneberg (Jeff), and Walter Krasneski Jr. (Tracie); proud grandmother of six, Lindsey Schreiber (Jared Duffy), Paul Schreiber (Tyler Oleskowitz), Mary Schreiber, Erika Krasneski, Steven Krasneski, and Max Kroneberg. Karen spent her early years living in rural Pennsylvania and came to Pittsburgh to train as a Nurse. She graduated from the Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She worked with troubled adolescents and adults until she retired to spend more time with her grandchildren. Karen loved all animals, especially her cats. Friends will be received on Monday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
