Marie Y. Falcone

Marie (Battaglia) Falcone, 93, of Glenshaw and Shaler Township, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023.  She was born November 4, 1929, in Blawnox, PA, to the late Peter and Mary (Satariano) Battaglia. She was the loving wife of 64 years to Ralph C. Falcone (deceased); loving mother of Virginia A. (deceased) (Kenn) Farbacher; Ronald K. Falcone (deceased), Mary Catherine (Leo) Cordial and Raymond F. (Carrie) Falcone; Godmother to Karen K. (Seibert) Shaw, grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 14. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Sr. Mary Clementine O.S.F. and Pauline A. Seibert, and by her brothers; Vincent P. Battaglia and John J. Battaglia. Marie loved growing up in Blawnox with her family, where they owned a grocery and hardware store on Freeport Road.  Marie and Ralph moved to Shaler Township in Glenshaw where many beautiful memories were made raising their 4 children among awesome neighbors on Greenfield Road. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 to 5p.m. at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in Christ the King Parish, St. Edward Church, Blawnox. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, O'Hara Township.
