Mary Virginia "Ginny" Miller

Mary Virginia “Ginny” Miller, age 89, of Glenshaw, passed on Thursday, November 24, 2022 due to complications of Leukemia. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia (Davison) Reardon, her husband, Donald P. Miller, sister, Mary Alice (Harry Bailey) Bailey-Penrod, and brother, Thomas J. (Elizabeth) Reardon; she is survived by her children, Beverly (Jeff) Markwith, Donald T. (Linda) Miller, Barbara (John) Swiderski, and John S. (Arleen) Miller; Proud Nanna of Andrew Markwith, Caroline Wright, Julia Miller, Leanne Miller, Grant Miller, Kristin (Matt) Wickline, Daniel (Barbara) Swiderski, Bridget and Steven Miller; dear great-grandmother of Isabella and Brooks Wickline. Ginny was an accomplished journalist. She began her career at the Sharpsburg Herald and later worked many years at the North Hills News Record. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an active member of the Shaler Garden Club and volunteered at the North Hills Community outreach Center. Friends will be received on Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Matthew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw, on Monday at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the North Hills Community Outreach.
