Rosalyn Christ, age 61, of O'Hara Twp., passed away after a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Beloved daughter of the late Carl H. and Kathleen Christ; loving sister of Laurann (Dave) Bleil, Marlene (Thom) Berncic, David (Judy) Christ and the late Carl (surviving Donna Capani); Proud aunt of Carl Michael, Brian, Cassandra, Michelle, David, James, Robert, Meaghan, and nine loving great nieces and great nephews; also survived by numerous cousins, friends, and colleagues that she adored. Rosalyn was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and colleague of so many people. She was a Grants Administrator for emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. She was witty, kind, fun loving, and hard working. She will be deeply missed by so many. Rosie was passionate about her work with EM grants. She loved animals and felt strongly about Cancer and Alzheimer's Research. A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10 AM in Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the following: Humane Society, the Pittsburgh Emergency medicine Fund www.PEMF.net ("EM academic support" check made payable to: University of Pittsburgh PO Box 640093 PGH., PA 15264-0093) OR to Alzheimer Research.
