Shirley J. Schmitt

Shirley Schmitt, Age 83, of Etna, previously Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 29, 2023; beloved sister of George (Susie), Carole (Ed), Timothy (Ruthanne); Loving mother of Richard (Denise); Matthew (Kim) and Karen (David); Proud grandmother of Nicole (Jonny), Amber (Bobby), Levi. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Vera Harris. Shirley was deeply rooted in her faith. She loved her time working at the All Saints rectory for 25+ years. She enjoyed spending time with family, sitting on the front porch reading, beach trips to the Outer Banks and dabbled in photography over the years. Friends will be held on Sunday, July 2 from 2 to 5 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd, 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Matthews Parish, All Saints Church. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial services will be private for immediate family.
