Stella M. Politano

Stella Politano age 56 of Glenshaw, PA left this world suddenly and unexpectedly on July 25th, 2024. Stella was preceded by her parents Olga and Antonio Politano. Stella dedicated her life to helping others, as she served as a registered nurse for 30 years. She spent time in several different fields of nursing but her heart was working with children at The Children's Home of Pittsburgh. Stella leaves behind her son, Petey, who was the absolute joy of her life. Words cannot describe how much love and pride she had for her son. She shared many memories with her dedicated partner of 20 years, Pat Nilles. Stella was a rock to her 3 sisters, Elizabeth Politano, Grace (Steve) Michalowski, and Maria Monahan, as well as her 4 nieces and nephews, Nicole (Pat) Nigborowicz, Edward (Taylor Shields) Monahan Jr, Jonathan (Morgan) Monahan, Victoria Monahan. She was also an amazing great aunt to her 7 great nephews and nieces, Arkadiusz, Elijah, Felicity, Makenna, Addison, Ryker, and Wesley. Above all, Stella was about to begin her life as a grandmother, expecting her first grandson in January of 2025. There are no words that can express how much her love, advice, care and support will be missed. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw., where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM.
