Steven J. Pavlick

Steven J. Pavlick, age 57, of Wexford, passed away suddenly to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 13, 2024; Beloved husband and best friend for 34 years to Denise (McCartney) Pavlick; the best father of Madison and Marlea, which he loved more than life; loving brother of James (Carole), Gail (Gary) Weismann, Gary (Lori), and the late David Pavlick; dear uncle of Holly (Fiancé Jayson), Jennifer (Doug) Cordeiro, Lindsay Weismann, Lisa (Jon) Szuchy, Stephanie (Ross) Dudgeon, Stacey Weismann, Mandee (Erik) Rusin, Chelsey (Kevin) Kennedy, and Dan (Brianna) Pavlick; Steve was the cherished Godfather of Chelsey and Stacey. Steve was a fully devoted husband and father. His pride and joy were his daughters, and he never missed an opportunity to show his love for Madison and Marlea. Whether it was cheering at Special Olympics, planning father-daughter dinners each week, or teaching his girls to fish, he showed his dedications in every thing he did. He was a “Girl Dad” through and through. Though he was fast with a joke, he was even quicker with a smile. He loved loud and fast cars, and a good game of golf with family and friends. He had the uncanny ability to unnerve his opponents by looking them in the eye while dropping a 10-foot putt. He was respectful and respected; positive and optimistic. Steve was proudly employed by Schindler Elevator Company as a technician for more than 35 years and was a member of St. Aiden’s Parish in Wexford, PA. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at TBD in Christ the King Parish, St. Mary Church, Sharpsburg. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
