Susan Ann Brown

Susan “Sue” Brown, age 75, of Shaler, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Beloved wife of 57 years to Robert “Bob” Brown; loving mother of Bobby Brown, Melissa Brown, and Michele Tutro (Mike); proud grandmother “Grammy” to Victoria, Andrew, Jordan, Elizabeth, and Ava. Sue was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, and moved to Lawrenceville when she was 10. There, she met the love of her life, Bob. Sue and Bob were married in 1967 and lived in Etna for 20 years before moving to Shaler in 1994. Sue adored her grandchildren, enjoyed traveling to the beach with her family, was an avid gardener (chrysanthemums were her favorite plants), was passionate about all Pittsburgh sports teams (especially the Penguins), liked to play solitaire on her iPad, loved Wendy’s frosties, adored watching “I Love Lucy” and any “Tammy” movies (staring Debbie Reynolds), and was a hula hoop champion, winning many contests. Friends will be received on Monday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM.
