William “Bill” E. Devorak, laid aside the working tools of life on Wednesday January 1, 2025. He was the only child of the late William and Alice Peglow Devorak. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Beverly after 60 years of marriage; he is survived by a niece Jamie Dick and her husband Joe; a great nephew Joey and great niece Samantha; also survived by many cousins. Bill served many Masonic bodies, Milnor Lodge No. 287 F. & A.M., Master in 1973 and 1977 (now Dallas Lodge), Zerubbabel-Duquesne R.A. Chapter No. 162 H.P. 1992, Pittsburgh Commandery No. 1 Knights Templar, Commander 1987-1988, Marshal of The Grand Commandery of Pennsylvania 2000-2001 & 2005-2006, Division Commander Division No. 2 of the Grand Commandery of PA 2002-2005, Knight Commandery of the Temple 2004, Knight Templar Cross of Honor 2014. A member of Mt. Moriah Council No. 2 R. & S.M., member of the York Rite Sovereign College of North America, Golden Triangle College No. 32, member Transfiguration Tabernacle No. XXIX. H.R.A.K.T.P. and a member of the Valley of Pittsburgh A.A.S.R. 32nd. Bill was of Presbyterian Faith and served as an Elder. He served in the United States Army at the Ordnance Guided Missile School. He was a member of the American Legion and volunteered his service to his township. Friends will be received Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd. 1500 Mount Royal Blvd. Glenshaw with a Funeral Service to be held Sunday at 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations sent to Knights Templar Eye Foundation.
